The 34-year-old football maestro has been an integral part of Real Madrid’s success since his transition from Bayern Munich in July 2014. During his tenure at Real Madrid, he has triumphed in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, each on four occasions, showcasing his prowess and contribution to the club’s achievements.

Notably, Kroos played a pivotal role in Germany’s World Cup victory in 2014, further cementing his legacy on the international stage. Following his retirement from international football in July 2021, Kroos made a surprising return in February after discussions with Germany’s coach, Julian Nagelsmann, highlighting his enduring passion for the sport.

His early years saw him clinch the first of three German league titles that season. Additionally, he was part of Bayern’s squad that secured the Champions League victory in 2013, despite not featuring in the final match.

The midfielder acknowledged the transformative impact of joining Real Madrid, affirming that it not only altered his professional trajectory but also contributed significantly to his personal growth. His unwavering commitment now lies in aiding Real Madrid in their quest for a 15th European Cup. As Real Madrid prepares to face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley on 1st June, Kroos expressed his dedication to the club, declaring that it will be his final season after a decade of remarkable contributions.

Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, lauded Kroos, affirming his status as one of the legendary players in the club’s history, solidifying the sentiment that Real Madrid will forever remain Kroos’s home.
