UEFA and adidas have revealed FUSSBALLLIEBE as the Official Match Ball for UEFA EURO 2024

The FUSSBALLLIEBE Official Match Ball for UEFA EURO 2024 embodies the spirit of the tournament, showcasing a perfect blend of cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and vibrant design. Crafted with adidas Connected Ball Technology for the first time at a UEFA EURO, this innovative feature provides unprecedented insight into the ball’s movement, while significantly contributing to UEFA’s video assistant refereeing decision-making process.

Revealed at a special event held in front of the Olympiastadion in Berlin, the FUSSBALLLIEBE ball was met with enthusiasm and excitement. Symbolizing the love for football, FUSSBALLLIEBE integrates striking black wing shapes adorned with colorful edges, curves, and dots, capturing the dynamism and energy of the game. The infusion of bold red, blue, green, and orange hues not only celebrates the spirit and fervor that participating nations bring to the tournament but also pays homage to the pure simplicity of football, which captivates fans worldwide.

Furthermore, as a testament to environmental responsibility, the manufacturing process of FUSSBALLLIEBE emphasizes sustainable and bio-based materials. By incorporating recycled polyester, water-based ink, and a range of innovative components such as corn fibers, sugar cane, wood pulp, and rubber, the new adidas Official Match Ball sets a new standard for eco-friendly sports equipment.

The unveiling of FUSSBALLLIEBE initiates a five-day celebration at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, featuring special appearances from past UEFA EURO legends and current icons, freestyle battles, and opportunities for fans to experience the ball firsthand. Additionally, a roadshow across the ten host cities, including pop-up inner-city football pitches and ball giveaways, aims to spread the joy of FUSSBALLLIEBE while fostering a deeper connection with communities and fans.

Moreover, in a commendable move, 1% of the net sales of the FUSSBALLLIEBE Official Match Ball will be contributed towards Common Goal, a charitable project created by streetfootballworld and Juan Mata.
